Meet the President!

Hi everyone! I am so very excited to be working with our great group of players, coaches and volunteers to make the Hollis Brookline Cavaliers the very best youth soccer club in New Hampshire. Having first served as the club's EDP Coordinator and now as President I have seen first hand how many of the young players who have joined our club have grown in their soccer skills, developed greater self confidence and really embraced the concepts of team based play. I feel as if we have a great opportunity to continue to improve an already awesome club and can't wait to see our boys and girls playing on the pitch this fall!

For those who don't know me personally I have 2 boys playing for the Cavs, Hunter who is a BU13 player who has been playing for the Cavs since he was in U8 and my son Scout who is now a U10 player who I swear just yesterday started playing in the BHYSL! We have been a part of the Cavaliers soccer family since 2012 and been active participants from the beginning. With an all volunteer run organization it can be either a few people doing the majority of the work or a lot of people sharing the load as a group. Thankfully the Cavs leans towards the later.

The Board and I are very excited for this fall 2016 season! We have 15 total teams registered in the NHSL across all 3 competitive divisions they support. Each team has their own professional coach supported by volunteer parent Team Managers. We have 3 brand new women coaches this fall supporting our 5 girls teams, coaches Dylan, Andie and Kris. 5 men coach our 10 boys teams, with coaches Nick, Junior and Joe returning from last season and we welcome back coach Kevin and brand new to the club coach Kyle. All of their bios are listed in the Coaches section of our website, so please take a look.

We have brand new uniforms this season and while we know it was an additional cost for some, it was time for new kits! Tiffany Testa and her crew did a fantastic job designing the new unis and negotiating a favorable contract with our new uniform partner Admiral. It is our hope that our club players wear their new kits to school on Friday September 9th to show pride in their teams and show off their hard earned uniforms.

Please check back often on our Cavs Blog as our brand new nutrition and fitness partner, Melisa Scherer of Scherer Strength will be a major contributor here as well with great ideas on how to fuel and train our little athletes.

Thanks again to all who make this little club so awesome and I look forward to seeing you all on the pitch again this week!

With regards,

Erica Crea
